GILLINGHAM'S previously postponed League 1 match against Scunthorpe will now go ahead at Priesfield on Friday.

The game had been postponed due to international call-ups for Trinidad pair Brent Sancho and Kelvin Jack and Wales midfielder Andrew Crofts.

Trinidad & Tobago, however, cancelled their friendly matches with Mexico and Columbia after several overseas players were reluctant to travel after concerns from their respective managers.

That meant Gillingham had to make a hasty plea to the Football League to get the fixture re-instated which they have now done.

Crofts joined with the Wales squad following Gillingham’s match at Blackpool and will be hoping to earn his fourth full international cap when his side face Czech Republic in a Euro 2008 qualifier.
