Women can learn to see off attackers

WOMEN will be able to learn how to fight off attackers at a self-defence class tomorrow (Saturday).

The class, organised by the Medway adult and community learning service, will teach women the basics of defending themselves.

The course also looks at how to anticipate possible dangerous situations in advance and avoid them, and how the attacker's mind works.

No previous knowledge or physical skills are needed for the course, at the Gillingham Centre in Green Street between 10am and 3pm.

Tickets cost £14 and there is no need to book in advance.
