Water exhibition to feature reservoir plan

SOUTH East Water is holding an exhibition in Canterbury, outlining future water plans.

It will be open to the public at the Abode Hotel, High Street, Canterbury, from 2pm-8pm on Monday, June 16 and lays out the proposals for two new reservoirs in Kent and East Sussex.

One, which is planned in Broad Oak, near Canterbury, is scheduled to be completed by 2024 and could help to deliver up to 77 million litres of water every day.
