It has been hailed as the grooviest radio station in history.

But this season's latest would-be blockbuster, The Boat That Rocked, tells a tale a lot more rock 'n roll than it was.

According to those behind the movie, being released on Friday, it's about "a band of DJs that captivate Britain", the swinging '60s and a government who tried to silence them.

But, talk to those who lived through those times - including kmfm's Tony Blackburn, Johnny Lewis and Nigel Harris - and you hear a different story.
