Three quizzed after man stabbed to death

A Margate man has been stabbed to death following a disturbance in the town on Tuesday night.

Officers were called to an address in Wilderness Hill at around 9.20pm, where they found a 36-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.

The victim was taken to the nearby QEQM hospital but was pronounced dead shortly before 10pm.

A post mortem examination was due to take place today.

A 42-year-old man was arrested close to the scene at around 9.40pm on Tuesday night. Two younger men, aged 20 and 16, were also arrested in Peartree Road, Herne Bay, this morning.

All three are being questioned on suspicion of murder and are being held at police stations in Margate and Canterbury.
