Now football clubs in Sittingbourne are the first in the area to clamp down on abusive fans.

In order to toe the line supporters have to stand behind it!

Spectators are being told to stand behind painted lines to keep them away from the touchline, as part of the Football Association's Respect the Ref campaign.

The Sheppey Sunday League says it is working really well so far - but Chairman Mark Rogers says it will only really work when top flight players are punished for bad behaviour.
