A MAN has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man who was found with a screwdriver embedded in his head.

An application for bail was refused and Mr McLeish was remanded in custody until August 23. The case was committed to the Central Criminal Court.

David Rodway, who lived in Orpington, suffered fatal head injuries from a screwdriver with a 9cm blade and 7cm handle during the incident in East Street, Bromley, at about 11pm on Saturday, May 6.
