Store staff threatened by would-be robber

A MAN acting alone threatened staff and demanded money at the Spar Shop and Post Office in High Street, Staplehurst.

No cash was handed over and the would-be robber, who was wearing a balaclava and dark clothing, left empty handed. It is believed he made off in a vehicle.

The incident happened on Monday, February 12, between 8.20pm and 8.40pm.
