The spirit of the legendary Freddie Mercury and Queen return to rock Thanet on Wednesday June 25.

The One Night of Queen show at the Winter Gardens features Gary Mullen, who won ITV’s Stars In Their Eyes final in 2000 as Freddie, which set him on a fantastic journey which has so far taken him to many theatres and concert halls in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Holland and New Zealand.

His sell-out concerts with his band The Works are receiving rave reviews from audiences, including when they appeared in the BBC’s Proms in the Park show in Hyde Park, London, alongside Andrea Bocelli, Simply Red, and G4.

Queen’s arm-waving air-guitar anthems create a party atmosphere as The Works deliver the works, including Radio Ga Ga, We Are the Champions, Somebody to Love and A Kind Of Magic.

Tickets for the show at Margate Winter Gardens are £16.50 from the box office, telephone 01843 296111.
