A SUSPICIOUS package forced bosses at the Bluewater complex at Greenhithe, near Dartford, to evacuate shoppers on Friday afternoon.
The incident, shortly after mid-day saw a small section of the centre closed off while officers were sent to investigate.
Kent Police later confirmed that the package was soon found to be safe and Christmas shoppers were allowed back in less than an hour after the incident was first reported.
