Police probe sex attack claim

A WOMAN is thought to have been sexually assaulted in a park in a Kent town yesterday morning.

Few details of the 4am attack have been released by police.

An area of Victoria Gardens, on New Road, Chatham, was cordoned off for most of the morning while foresnic experts carried out a fingertip search for clues.

It is not known how old the victim is or where she comes from.

A spokesman for Medway Police, said: "We are currently investigating an allegation of an alleged sexual offence."
