A mobile police station will make its way around part of the county this week to keep residents updated on policing arrangements for a huge protest rally.

The Camp for Action Climate is to stage a demonstration over plans for a coal-fired power station at Kingsnorth, near Hoo.

The deployment follows two public meetings held between Kent Police and Medway Council representatives about how they and other organisations will be working together to keep disruption to residents and businesses to a minimum.
