Police appeal after attack on boy

A 14-year-old boy was the victim of a serious assualt as he walked with friends along Kingsdown Park, Whitstable.

The incident occurred just after 9.30pm on Friday, February 3, when a group of around a dozen young men approached the boy.

Police spokesman Michael Ivatt said: "There was verbal altercation before the victim was punched to the ground and then kicked."

The chief offender is described as a being aged between 14 to 17 and wearing a white hooded top and white trainers.
