Police community support officers have taken action against mini motorbikes following complaints from residents.

While patrolling in the Bybrook area of Ashford, PCSO Nikki Relf was told that a mini moto was being ridden in Cemetery Lane.

She contacted colleagues PCSOs Selina Lawrence and Ian Williamson who were able to arrest two youths in the area who were riding a silver mini machine.

It was seized for destruction and the youth who was driving it was issued with a section 59 order forbidding him to ride one.

PCSO Relf, said: “We can only successfully apprehend and deal with this type of anti social behaviour with information from the community.

“In this case we were told where the offenders were and acted upon the information immediately.”
