Febian Brandy won the KM Group's player of the month award for November.

The forward, who is currently on loan from Premier League giants Manchester United, was presented with a bottle of champagne before Saturday’s match by Messenger reporter Luke Cawdell.

Gillingham fans voted the striker as the pick of the players from last month, beating Curtis Weston by just one per cent. Finishing third was fellow loanee Matt Fry.

Brandy capped the day with his second Gills goal of his loan spell in the 3-1 win over Stockport.

"I can’t say enough good things about the fans," said Brandy. "For me to come in and get welcomed how they have is an honour at any club."
