POLICE are appealing for information to help find a 46-year-old builder who is missing from home.

Sean Lupton, who is married with two teenage children, lives at Hillside Road, Whitstable.

He was last seen when he attended a meeting in Capel le Ferne, near Folkestone, at about 6pm on Tuesday, December 12.

It is thought he then intended to travel to the Crawley/Guildford area on the Sussex/Surrey border for another meeting. He was driving a plain white Ford transit 300 SWB panel van.

Mr Lupton is well known in boxing circles in the south east and trained youngsters at the Herne Bay Boxing Club.

Det Insp Tony Hubbard said: "It is now some time since family and friends last heard from Sean. This is out of character and we would appeal for anyone who knows where he is or has seen his white van to contact us as soon as possible."
