Motorcyclist dies after Edenbridge crash

A teenage motorcyclist has died after a crash in Edenbridge.

The 18-year-old was taken to hospital after the accident in Main Road, Edenbridge at around 2.30pm yesterday afternoon.

The accident came as a blue Renault Clio was turning right into Enterprise Way, when a yellow Yamaha DZ125 motorbike was approaching from behind, overtaking other vehicles.

It then collided with the Clio, as it was turning.

The bike rider, from Edenbridge, suffered life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to Royal London Hospital, where he died earlier this afternoon.

The Clio's front passenger had minor injuries.
