Mother-of-two cut from car wreckage

A WOMAN had to be freed from the wreckage of her car after an accident involving a van.

Firefighters and paramedics took nearly an hour to free Lyn Williamson from her Renault Megane which crashed through railings at Tile Kiln Hill, Blean, near Canterbury.

Mrs Williamson, a mother-of-two, from Blean Common, escaped serious injury.

The Whitstable to Canterbury road was closed to traffic for more than an hour.
