A TEENAGE girl missing from her Kent home since July 5 has been found in Athens.

Nataleigh Cross, 14, was discovered by Greek police on Saturday and she is flying home today. Kent Police sent two police officers to Greece to collect her.

Greek police officers found Nataleigh, of Caroline Square, Margate, at about 11.30am Greek time on Saturday and took her to a local police station.

She is thought to have left the UK with a male friend, former Thanet man Peter Willcox.

A police spokesman confirmed that a man aged 48 has been arrested by Greek police on suspicion of abduction. He is still in the custody of the Greek authorities.

Detectives are currently looking at options to extradite him to the UK.
