Man seriously hurt in pub garden attack

A 59-year-old man suffered serious injuries after he was assaulted by three people in a pub beer garden.

The victim was allegedly set upon in the garden of the Tudor Rose, Upnor, Rochester between 7pm and 8pm on Tuesday.

He had to be treated in hospital for serious injuries to his head and face.

Three people from Gravesend were arrested on suspicion of grevious bodily harm. They have all been released on police bail.
