Man killed in head-on crash horror

One man died and two other people were seriously injured in a two-car crash.

The accident happened at around 11.35pm Monday near the Bull Inn in Tonbridge Road, Barming, near Maidstone.

The 63-year-old victim was a passenger in a maroon-coloured Saab which collided head-on with a black Ford Fiesta. The Saab then hit a tree and overturned.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other people in the Saab suffered serious injuries and those in the Ford sustained minor injuries.

An investigation is under way. Anyone with information is urged to contact Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 01622 798538.

No further details about the deceased man have yet been released by police.
