A 58-year-old man admitted 32 charges involving child porn on the internet when he appeared at Maidstone Crown Court.

John Manlow, of Station Road, Rainham, pleaded guilty to 31 charges of making indecent video clips of children and one of possessing a video clip for show. He committed the offences between August 25 and 27 last year.

John Hillen, prosecuting, said the clips would be shown to the judge when Manlow, a man of previous good character, appeared for sentence on June 13.

Peter Marshall, defending, said Manlow was an intelligent man who had a history of depression and alcohol abuse.
