A diesel spill caused more than 13 hours of traffic problems on the M20.
Motorists travelling London bound faced problems between junction 4 (West Malling) and junction 3 (Wrotham Heath) for the whole of Wednesday after a lorry's fuel tank spilt spilling diesel on the road.
Resurfacing work was required over a 20 metre stretch.
Police announced the road re-open at 9.15pm.
