Danielle Masters and Claire Aitken suffered disappointment at the Ladies' European Tour Qualifying School in Spain.

Bearsted 27-year-old Masters (pictured right)was hoping to regain her full playing rights on next year's tour after two lean seasons, but finished 53rd in the Final Stage Qualifying at La Manga Golf Club. Only the top 30 earned their full card and so Masters, who finished on a 17-over-par 378 in the five-round tournament, seven shots off qualification, will again have to rely on invites to next year's European Tour events.

This season she played in seven tournaments, with a best finish of joint 42nd in the Tenerife Ladies' Open.

Gravesend pro Claire Aitken (pictured left) lost her card after a disappointing showing in the Qualifying School.

The 24-year-old Mid-Kent GC player secured her 2010 card with a strong performance and top-30 finish at La Manga a year ago but finished joint 64th this year, a shot further back from Masters.
