Girl suffers head injury in accident

A TEENAGE girl is in hospital with a serious head injury after an accident involving a car in Bow Road, Wateringbury, yesterday evening.

The 16-year-old girl, from Maidstone, is being treated in a London hospital where she is said to be in stable condition.

Police closed the road between the A26 junction and the railway station while emergency service dealt with the incident. It was reopened at 9.50pm.
