Simeon Jackson’s season finally came to an end after clocking up his tenth international appearance for Canada on Saturday.

Gillingham’s leading scorer for the past two seasons played the full match for Canada in the 1-1 draw against Venezuela in South America.

The game came five days after Jackson (pictured) also appeared for Canada against Argentina in Buenos Aires.

Canada drew against Venezuela thanks to an injury-time goal from Gavin McCallum at the Estadio Olimpico Metropolitano de Mérida.

The national team are back in action on September 4 when they face Peru in Toronto before Honduras travel to Montreal.
