TERRY REYNOLDS: the full inquest into his death is still to take place

THE funeral of Terry Reynolds, whose body was found in the River Medway ending a search that began early on New Year’s Day, will be held today.

Mr Reynolds, a lift engineer, from Wayfield, Chatham, went missing after a night out at The Casino nightclub in Rochester.

His family and friends joined police in a massive search and appeals for information but fears grew after investigations revealed his bank card had not been used.

Mr Reynolds’ body was discovered by a passer-by near Howlsmere Close in Halling, just before 4pm, on Monday, January 22.

The cause of his death has yet to be revealed but police are not treating it as suspicious. A full inquest is still to take place.

Mr Reynolds’ funeral will be at Medway Crematorium, from 1pm.

Terry, who would have been 20 on January 6, was last seen in Star Hill, Rochester, just after midnight on January 1.
