A MOTORCYCLIST who died when he was in a collision with a lorry in Seven Mile Lane at Mereworth, near Maidstone, on Monday, September 10, has been identified by Kent Police.
He was 37-year-old Russell Munday, of Hilton Way, South Croydon, Surrey. An inquest into Mr Munday’s death has been opened and adjourned.
The white DAF truck involved was waiting to turn right off Seven Mile Lane when the crash happened. Mr Munday was riding his black Yamaha in the opposite direction. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
