FRIENDS and family of a popular young man who died in a road accident have suffered another devastating blow, after a memorial to him was destroyed.

Someone drove a car over the bench and flagstones which were carefully decorated in Sammy’s memory, outside the family home in Wordsworth Close, Lordswood.

A family friend said: “It’s almost like he’s been killed all over again."

Sammy Parker died in a car accident in Luton Road, Chatham, in October last year.

Daniel Paul White, 21, from Chatham, has been charged with criminal damage after allegedly wrecking the memorial.
