Drink-drive arrest after garage forecourt drama

A MAN was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after an incident at a Kent petrol station.

A car entering the forecourt of Somerfield Petrol Station, East Peckham, near Tonbridge, hit a stationary motorcycle and then struck petrol pumps.

The garage had to be evacuated and the road closed while the incident was dealt with on Saturday night.

The man arrested was later released on bail.
