Dozens of firefighters tackle blaze at New Romney industrial unit

Dozens of firefighters have been tackling a blaze at an industrial unit in New Romney overnight.

Crews were called to the building on Learoyd Road just after 1.30am today.

The fire broke out on the mezzanine floor of one unit of the six-unit building, but was put out by 3.15am.

Around 25 firefighters used hydraulic equipment, one huge reel jet and one main jet.
