FIVE people were taken to hospital after a dramatic crash involving two cars in a Kent Town.

One car ended up on its roof after being in collision with another car at the junction of Sturdee Avenue and Third Avenue, Gillingham, at about 8.45am on Thursday.

The road was closed for more than two hours while crash investigators examined the scene.

Paramedics took the injured drivers and three passengers to Medway Maritime Hospital, but none are thought to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
