Building site guard robbed at knifepoint

DETECTIVES are hunting two men who threatened a security guard with a knife and escaped with £65 in cash and two mobile phones.

The incident occurred at a building site in Church Street, Hoo, near Rochester.

One of the robbers is described as being white, aged between 20 and 25, and of slim build. He was wearing a dark jumper and blue jeans.

The other man is also said to be white and aged between 20 and 25. He is around 5ft 9in tall and of medium build. He was wearing a hooded jumper, with the hood up, and jeans.

The incident happened at around 6am on Friday, December 14. Det Con Becki Taft said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the robbery, or who has any information that will help us.

"All calls will be fully researched and treated in the strictest confidence."
