Athletes gear up for Kent Cross Country Championships

The Kent Cross Country Championships will be held at Wilmington Grammar School for Boys, Common Road, Wilmington, Dartford on Saturday (starting at 10.30am).

There will be 10 races for all age groups with the senior men starting at 1pm and the senior women at 2pm.

More than 800 entries have been received, including both defending champions John Gilbert (Kent AC) and Clare Elms (Dulwich Runners).

Medway and Maidstone are the current holders of the men’s team trophy and the women’s champions are Blackheath and Bromley Harriers.
