All-in extras for 406 range

PEUGEOT is simplifying its 406 line-up. This means customers will benefit from a value for money range with additional specification on some models at no extra cost.

Models affected by this value-adding initiative are the 406 GLX, 406 Rapier and 406 GTX.

All 406 GLX Saloon and Estate models now have a six-CD autochanger, leather trimmed steering wheel, electro-chrome rear view mirror and practical door sill illumination fitted as standard.

The price of the 406 GLX remains the same, ranging from the GLX 1.8 Saloon at £14,995 on-the-road to £18,695 for the GLX 2.2 HDi Estate with satellite navigation. In addition to these changes in the equipment levels, the 2.2 HDi 136 bhp diesel engine with particulate filter is now available for the first time on all GLX derivatives except the Family Estate.

New options for the 406 Rapier line-up now include an electric tilt and slide sunroof (£410), 6-CD autochanger (£300) and ultrasonic alarm (£210).

Due to the added extras now available on GLX derivatives, Peugeot is deleting the GTX from the range to make choice simpler between models.
