Sidibe swaps Fleet for Wings

GRAVESEND have parted company with winger Moussa Sidibe who has been reunited with former club assistant manager Adrian Pennock at Welling.

The brother of Gillingham striker and Mali international Mamady Sidibe, Moussa has signed for a month with a view to winning a long-term contract.

He played in both the Wings’ Easter matches against Cambridge and Basingstoke and Pennock said: "Moussa was told he did not figure in Gravesend’s plans for next season so we signed him for the rest of the season.

"If he does well he could stay longer. It’s up to him."

Sidibe is the seventh former Fleet player to move to Welling, joining Charlie Mitten, Lew Watts, Chris Moore, Lee Spiller, Paul Booth and Tony Browne.
