LIAM DAISH: says his side should have picked up more points than they have

GRAVESEND & Northfleet manager Liam Daish has called on his team to turn performances into points.

The Fleet face two games over the Bank Holiday weekend and start with a trip to a Forest Green side who are yet to pick up a point on Saturday. They return to Stonebridge Road on Monday when they face Altrincham.

The Fleet currently lie 13th in the Nationwide Conference after picking up one win from their opening three games.

Daish added: "I feel that we are three points short of where we should be on those performances.

"We are now coming into a run of games and if we do it right and apply ourselves right we’ve got a chance.

"If we work as hard as we did against York and Tamworth we have got a better chance than not of getting three points or getting some sort of result. "

Left-back Peter Hawkins will miss the match against Forest Green as he is serving the last game of a three-match suspension.
