EBBSFLEET goalkeeper Lance Cronin has signed a new two-year deal to keep him at Stonebridge Road until the end of the 2009/10 season.

The 22-year-old joined the Fleet in August 2006 and has since cemented his place at number one.

The former Crystal Palace youth player won international honours in his first season, after being selected for the England National XI team.

Cronin has made 73 appearances for Fleet and has been included in the squad for England C's second International Challenge Trophy Group A game against Wales on Wednesday (February 20).
