GRAVESEND and Northfleet face the long trek to York this Saturday before entertaining Halifax on Tuesday night.

Fleet badly need a boost after a brace from Tamworth's Jake Edwards severely damaged their play-off hopes in the 2-1 defeat on Tuesday night.

A spectacular goal late on from Gravesend's leading goalscorer Charlie MacDonald gave his side hope but the home side held out to increase their hopes of survival.

Fleet slipped to eighth in the table and are now seven points off fifth-placed Burton Albion.
