The summer holidays may only just be over but some are already thinking about Christmas.

The cast of this year's panto at the Woodville Halls, Gravesend, basked in the sunshine during a photocall to launch December's performances of Sleeping Beauty.

Comedian Michael Fenton Stevens, who plays the Dame, Lauren Harrison, who plays Princess Belle, and their fellow stars headed to Tonbridge Castle for the launch.

Mr Stevens said families can expect a traditional panto complete with plenty of water and gunge in the "slosh scenes". He said: "I don't think a pantomime should be too scary for children. It will be funny and I'm so looking forward to it."

Performances take place at the Woodville Halls in Windmill Street, Gravesend from Saturday, December 10 until Sunday, January 1.
