A 52-year-old woman has been found dead at a flat in Cobham Street, Gravesend.
The body was discovered by an ambulance crew who was called to the scene at 2.53am on Friday.
A 47-year-old man, from Gravesend, has been arrested in connection with the suspicious death and is currently being held in police custody.
How the woman died will be made public after a post mortem has been carried out.
