Ebbsfleet United boss Liam Daish is waiting on decisions from top scorer Calum Willock and midfielder Ashley Carew as he continues to assemble his squad ahead of their return to Blue Square Bet Premier football next season.

Both Willock (pictured), who scored 26 goals in 52 games last season, and Carew have been offered new deals.

Daish said: "Ashley has been offered a contract, and I am just waiting to hear back.

"I met Calum last week, but he has been away, came back, and then went away again at the weekend on another short break. I also hope to hear from him as well."

The Stonebridge Road boss settled his own future last week, agreeing a new 12-month contract.

Daish, who has been in charge since February 2005, said: "Things had been ongoing for a while. I wanted to try and get the playing side sorted out first, and my own personal situation followed on from that."
