Police have arrested four men in connection with an attempted armed robbery at the Harvester restaurant in Gravesend.

One of the suspects had an object staff believed to be a gun and ordered that a safe was opened.

A 20-year-ld from Gravesend, a 17-year-old from Gravesend and an 18-year-old from Northfleet have all been arrested on suspicion of the attempted armed robbery and bailed until December 12.

A 50-year-old man from Gravesend has also been arrested on suspicion of attempted armed robbery and bailed until November 16.
