The margin of victory flattered the visitors as Gravesend lost 44-25 to Westcombe Park.

Gravesend’s forwards looked to force the pace during Saturday’s National League 3 London & South East clash but the hosts trailed 23-6 at the break, Dave Dorton registering with two penalties.

Park extended their lead with a converted try after half-time and were looking dangerous.

But Gravesend made the scoreline respectable courtesy of tries by Jamie Forsyth (2) and Tom Ford.

A bonus point looked on the cards as Gravesend pushed for a fourth try but a promising move broke down and Park went down the other end to complete the victory with another seven points.
