KENT Police say the body of a man found on a beach in Folkestone on Saturday has yet to be formally identified.

The body, believed to be that of a middle-aged man, was discovered by a member of the public stuck between rocks in Lower Sandgate Road.

A mechanical digger was used to remove the rocks in order to free the body. Police are not treating the death as suspicious.
