The attack happened as she left Pipers in Tontine Street at Folkestone at around 1.50am on Sunday. She walked along Tontine Street and into Dover Road but was found at 2.15am in a distressed state on the other side of the town in Dyke Road.

The woman, who is her early thirties, had been drinking and has been unable to give police details of how she got to Dyke Road or a description of the attacker. A medical examination revealed she had been sexually assaulted.
