A newborn baby has been found abandoned in Kent.
The discovery was made in an alleyway at the Eastern Docks in Dover at 10.45pm yesterday.
The baby boy, who was thought to been hours old when found, was taken to hospital were he was treated for exposure to the cold. His condition is not life threatening.
Police traced his mother a short time later, and she is also receiving treatment at hospital.
