Adaptive rower James Morgan, from Deal, added to Great Britain’s impressive haul of medals at the Beijing Paralympics on Thursday.

He was part of the mixed coxed four team that grabbed bronze in the sport’s debut appearence at the Games.

It was a double east Kent celebration as Alastair McKean, from Canterbury, was also part of the team.

The pair were joined in the boat by Vicki Hansford, from Farnborough, and Naomi Riches, from north London, as well as cox Alan Sherman.
