Woman pedestrian hit by car that mounted the pavement in East Hill, Dartford

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was hit by a car that had mounted the pavement.

Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the collision in East Hill, Dartford on Friday afternoon.

At about 2.53pm a silver Honda Civic was travelling along the one-way system and had turned left to go up East Hill.

For unknown reasons the car mounted the pavement, hitting the pedestrian.

The 34-year-old woman was taken to a London hospital, where she remains in a stable condition.

PC Jamie Woodhams said: “We have spoken to the driver of the car involved but we would urge anyone that has not spoken to police at the scene or contacted us that may have seen the incident to call the witness line.”
