Taxi driver in hospital

A TAXI driver is in a stable condition in hospital after a three vehicle motorway crash.

The driver of the taxi had to be cut free from the wreckage of the car after it and two lorries collided on the anticlockwise section of the M25 yesterday.

The incident took place between junctions two and three, Dartford and Swanley, on Tuesday afternoon at 3.10pm.

Firefighters from Dartford and Swanley were called to the scene and used their equipment to cut the man free.

An ambulance crew helped the man while firefighters lifted him free from the vehicle.

He was taken to Darent Valley Hospital with multiple injuries but his condition is understood to be stable.
